In 1988, on the Cajun Prairie of Louisiana, our journey began with two acres and a vision — to grow herbs that would become the foundation of bold, rich flavor. Our Premier Collection Blends offered lower salt and NO added MSG.
My Daddy’s Seasoning and Condiments followed, starting as a labor of love for the young boys of our family, soon gained praise far beyond the family table — recognized and loved across the country.

The Premier Collection Seasonings, Cajun Prairie Chargrille and Cajun Prairie Vegetable, blazed the trail, developed form our own herb gardens, distributed locally, at Farmers Markets and kitchen shops across Louisiana. Soon, Myrna was invited to share cooking with herbs at seminars and community events. The attendees, loving the flavors, asked her to share recipes and prepare them. We quickly found ourselves catering our first wedding and
booking up to a year in advance for over 25 years.

First, because three little boys, my sons, said so! Back in the 80s, I made these pickles just for them, they quickly became addicted, forcing me to hide them in the back of the pantry. Smart little fellows, they figured out a way to get more; anytime their friends or family came over they’d say …“ You Gotta Try My Daddy’s Pickles!” Of course, I couldn’t refuse, allowing them to indulge as well.
Secondly, because my friends said so! Asking when I’d be making more and could they buy some. They in turn would share with their friends using the same pitch, You Gotta Try ….
